Aromas of wet graphite, blue-toned fruit, blackcurrant, delicate violet, aniseed, crushed petals and cassis exude purity. There's a hint of exotic spice, ephemeral yet intense, and perfumed oud, cedar, bonfire, clove and pine needles. A silvery thread of minerality weaves its way through, completing the tapestry of spice, fruit and savoury hues, lifted with a tremor of acidity. Concentrated and powerful, still in its infancy, it holds promise for the future. The tannins, somewhere between chalky and chewy, layer upon layer like brushstrokes. While there's a touch of classy oak, it steps back to allow the fruit to shine. This will age an eon. A blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèdre and Malbec. Named after Dr Harold Olmo, who recognised the potential of the Frankland River region. Organic.
