An opening of calm lemon tang, pretty white florals, fresh-cut spiced herbs and a whiff of sea-salted rosemary. The palate is zippy and driven, with Gingin power, freshness and drive carrying through. Nice clarity of fruit, with sandpaper-textured, food-friendly phenolics. Crack open with a roast chook and ample potatoes. A complete wine. From a single vineyard planted with 57% Clone 5 and 43% Gingin vines. Wild fermented, matured for 10 months in oak.
