Emmerich Knoll passed the baton some years ago to his son, also called Emmerich, but the highest quality has been maintained. This signature wine displays a lively mineral and saline nose, with lurking apple and apricot aromas. Rich, imposing, and compact, the palate is clearly ripe but shows plenty of spice and flair, with some green apple notes. It's flamboyant and vibrant, but also balanced and poised, with a superb and persistent thread of tangy acidity. Very long.
