Sekt Austria Große Reserve

Schloss Gobelsburg is one of Austria’s oldest wineries, run by Michael Moosbrugger since 1996. Having spent more than 10 years on lees, it is impossible to fully dissect the aromatics of this wine: notes of tobacco, herbs, stone fruit, elderberry, yellow apple, apple peel, dried apple slices and dried blossoms, with autolytic hints of brioche, cashew nuts, orangeade and candied lemon peel. The mousse is delicate, with a slightly creamy texture. The acidity has woven itself seamlessly into the profile. Well-balanced and in harmony with itself. Impressive length.
