Yellow apple, pear and citrus on the nose, the Ried Steinertal Grüner is more mineral than the Loibenberg. The site is lower than Ried Loibenberg with cold air constantly coming down from the hill. Oily and rich on the palate, with plenty of green and yellow fruits and bitter citrus. The mouthfeel is warming at 14% alcohol, but the limey acidity provides a lift. Yellow apple and apricot notes linger on.
