Bolivia

A blend of Vischoqueñas from two sites – one slate, the other alluvial gravel – from vines aged 80 to more than 100. Natural in style but pure and clean. Sour cherry, plum stone, hibiscus, quince bloom, with an energetic, sour fruit palate. Sappy, vibrant, mouthwatering. Light to medium body, with strawberry tang to the fruit. Concentrated but crisp, light, mouthwatering, zesty. NB: paired deliciously with fatty pork belly with wild plum sauce and pickle flavours at Arami in La Paz.
