A confident red blend – Merlot-dominant (65%) with Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) and Tannat (20%) – aged for 11 months in used French and American oak. Appealing aromas of ripe black and red fruit edged with florals and spice. Satisfying palate: velvety Merlot fruit is tempered with savoury spice and grip from the Cabernet and Tannat. Fine, well-integrated tannins and a long finish. Well made and over-delivers for the price.
