Seventh overall in the Bordeaux blends category. A new addition to CedarCreek's extensive range, The Last Word has only been made in 2013 and 2014 - 'the best 'Bordeaux' vintages in the Valley since 2007/2009,' says winemaker Taylor Whelan. Made from a selection of the best parcels and clones, it hails from their gravelly Desert Ridge Vineyard in south Okanagan, planted exclusively to Bordeaux varieties. It's almost Syrah-like with its pepper and meaty aromas, and the palate is stuffed full of dark fruits, wound up by amply extracted tannins. Very brawny in its expression.
