This Pinot is the second vintage from this quite new winery, using vines grown in the cooler northern part of Okanagan. It has some nice gamey flavours with redcurrant and cranberry freshness, and although the palate is quite drying (probably down to the 17 months spent in French oak), it has plenty of texture and those tell-tale cream and liquorice oak notes coming to the fore on the finish.
