This 2018 Reserve includes 15% to 20% of botrytis-affected grapes – rare in the Okanagan’s dry conditions. Winemaker Dwight Sick incorporates overnight skin contact, spontaneous fermentation with wild yeast and extended lees contact to build character. The nose doles out mandarin and gooseberry with wisps of smoke, while the palate is redolent of biting into a tart green apple. Ultimately citrusy with plenty of lasting energy.
