Okanagan’s cool Lake Country district stretches north to the 50th parallel. Here, construction mogul Dennis O'Rourke has planted more than 44ha and hired two of the region’s top female winemakers. Stephanie Stanley, who worked alongside wine veteran Howard Soon at Sandhill takes charge of the Riesling. It sings with classic orchard fruit, honeydew and almond blossom. Light on its feet, this gains intensity as it skips across the palate, building to a pithy lime and grapefruit cre.
