Established by Bill Redelmeier in 1991, Southbrook expanded from a boutique 2,000-case winery to a 60ha estate producing 14,000 cases a year. Under the direction of Ann Sperling, it became Canada’s first organic- and biodynamic-certified winery. It also partners with organic growers: Heather Laundry provided fruit for this crisp, refreshing Riesling. Lively lemon accents mingle with petrol aromas, while citrus sherbet and crunchy green apple drive the mid-weight palate.
