Southbrook's Riesling is made with certified organic fruit from the Laundry Vineyard in the coolest sub-appellation of Vinemount Ridge. Pretty aromas of honeysuckle and violets are wrapped in notes of paraffin wax. This is a drier style from the region, with an expression focused on texture. Wild fermentation adds complexity, and the style seems to be seeking food as its companion. Lingering finish.
