The grapes come from a single vineyard in the Aconcagua’s coastal Zapallar zone, just seven kilometres from the cooling Pacific. And you can taste that cool climate fruit in this juicy, fresh, mid-weight Pinot, not to mention its breezily perfumed aromatics. The grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks and then kept on their skins to provide structure and colour. After the malo, the wine was aged in French barriques (20% new) for 10 months. This has real Pinot personality, with succulent raspberry and red cherry fruits alongside savoury earthy note and gently persistent tannins. A vin de plaisir and an exciting interpretation of Aconcaguan Pinot Noir.
