Chile

A tightly coiled nose, with perfume and herbal notes. The palate shows a real herbal spice and smoke as well. A meaty note is followed by crushed blackberry. A tight mid palate is super crunchy, fresh and with very detailed tannins that are so well extracted. Lovely acidity and a long, really fine finish. An excellent expression of Carménère that is not pyrazine-led or bright-fruited, moreover textured in style.
