Textbook fresh cassis aromas, with notes of blackcurrant leaf and blackcurrant fruit pastille. Ripe black fruit and blueberries; juicy mid-palate with good persistence, velvety tannins and mineral freshness. Some spice and salty liquorice on the finish. Great example of a polished southern hemisphere Carménère. This blend includes 8% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Syrah.
