This field blend of Moscatel, Sémillon, Sauvignon Vert, Torontel, and Corinto, dances in the glass with a delicate flintiness hovering over wildflowers, dry hay, peach and red apple peel. Having spent 10 months on the skins post fermentation, this has lovely textural and unctuous complexity offset by acid drive and zesty verve. Pink grapefruit, nectarine, Asian pear and yellow apple fill the mouth with abundance as well as freshness, opening to an alluring balsamic core, emerging fluidly at the centre of the glass. Great persistence with a long spicy tail of white pepper and fennel seed.
