Kalfu is Ventisquero's a range of cool climate wines – the name, meaning 'blue' in the Chilean Mapuche language, is a reference to the coastal vineyards. This Pinot was grown in Leyda Valley, during a cool vintage, ensuring slow ripening and freshness in the wines. An elegant wine, with aromas of juicy raspberries, mulberry and black cherry, edged with spice and vanilla. Medium-bodied, with rounded tannins and good freshness; raspberries and strawberries dusted with white and black pepper. Great value and food-friendly: try it with roast chicken.
