One of the first wineries in the Limarí Valley, Viña Tabalí was founded in 2002. Planted on limestone soil, the Talinay vineyard is located just next to the Fray Jorge National Park, and is 12km from the Pacific Ocean, where it benefits from the cooling influence of the Camanchaca fog. Fermentation for this Pinot Noir takes place in stainless steel, following careful bunch selection overseen by Chief Winemaker and CEO Felipe Müller, 2014's Young Chilean Winemaker of the Year. The wine undergoes 10 months of barrel ageing in French oak before release.

Martin Lam: Bright, but muted red fruits. High-ish acidity, quite fresh, refreshing. A lovely example of Chilean Pinot.
Peter Richards MW: A wine that teases you and tantalises. Fresh, crisp, elegant, with coiled energy like a spring. Made by someone who understands proper Pinot. The touch of age gives it extra savoury complexity. Tangy acidity, lovely line and a lifted, engaging, food-friendly finish. Lovely stuff.
Patricio Tapia: Another fine example of Limarí Pinot, this has that strong salty feeling together with a firm, solid structure of tannins, well integrated acidity and refreshing red fruits.
