This stripped-back Carmenère shows the increasingly subtle red wine styles of De Martino, focused on fresher, nuanced expressions. Coming from their vineyard in Isla de Maipo with gravelly alluvial terraces, the expression here is softer than those of Maipo Andes. There is touch of smoked pepper on the nose with subtle layers black fruit and wild herbs, and a bright, lively finish.
