Indigenous yeast and just a dash of the 2023 vintage contribute to a complex, perfumed nose of thyme, rosemary and lime. Oily with white spices on the palate, thanks to barrel fermentation and partial new oak ageing, including up to eight months on lees with batonnage. Green citrus acidity provides a lift, leading to a ripe finish. Planted in 2014 on Mihope's warm and rocky Jinshan vineyard, this single-varietal Viognier was first created in 2018.
