Grgić has produced a fresh and expressive Pošip, shaped by the cooling summer breezes of its vineyards in Čara on the island of Korčula. With just a little oak ageing – spending four to six months in French barrels – the wine combines delicate vanilla and woody spice with marked citrus and stone fruit character. At once satisfyingly rich yet fresh, this is a perfect barbecue white.
