Located in Wettolsheim, Domaine Albert Mann represents the union of two passionate dynasties, the Manns and Barthelmés. Led by Jacky and Maurice (who took over in the mid-1980s) alongside the next generation, Antoine and Pauline, the estate is a pinnacle of Alsace viticulture. The house style is defined by surgical purity and vibrant elegance, producing wines of exemplary focus and intense minerality, and among their seven grand cru sites, the pebbly limestone Furstentum and Hengst soils deliver immense power. Thierry Meyer: Ripe, fruity aromas with toasted bread, citrus peel, dried zest. Palate is deep, complex, fresh and still young: will keep. Vincenzo Arnese: Good vibrant nose, intense citrus. Rich profile, developed yet very fresh with a lingering, vibrant finish. Good style. Claire Thevenot MS: Hay smoke, flinty aromas. Dried pineapple. There are still some green, herbal notes, such as lemongrass. A very pleasing and gastronomic wine.
