Toasted, woody and aged notes on the nose. This has more of a golden yellow colour in the glass hinting its age. It's rich on the palate with fine bubbles and still juicy flavours, they are just that bit more rich, rounded and spiced. It's as if each bubble is individually edged with a lick of roasted almonds. Not as immediately refreshing as some but this is a fine choice if you're looking for more complex, aged flavours with aromatic intensity and character.
