This top Riesling, first made in 2007, is produced from a south-facing parcel within the grand cru of Schoenenbourg. Apple and apricot aromas are evident, but this is still subdued and almost austere on the nose. Full-bodied and weighty, this shows volume and depth, and it's a grand expression of Riesling with firm minerality and plenty of grip. Sustained by fine acidity, this is still youthful, Very long.
