What a privilege to taste this rare and beautiful wine. It's a wonderful gold-amber colour, with explosive aromatics that give way to a powerfully articulated palate. Bitter-sweet Seville orange marmalade, honey and demerara sugar are to the fore on the palate, joined by soft acidity and a lanolin-like texture - it's rich, spicy, oily and sweet, supremely complex and totally mesmerising. Unsurprisingly, the finish is incredibly long.
