Inviting ripe berry aromas, showing such plushness, richness and endearing blackberry, cherry and bramble notes. Incredibly juicy in the mouth, with flowing, luminous fruit and good concentration supported by deliciously succulent acidity. Gorgeously fresh and ripe, there's good mid-palate weight and an acid line which really pulls a more red-fruited strawberry and cranberry character into the finish. A pleasure to drink. Pinot Noir from the Kirchberg de Barr Grand Cru site, but named simply 'K' as it pre-dates the authorisation of Pinot Noir to grand cru status.
