A softly fragranced nose with white flowers and crisp fruit. The palate is laser sharp with precise lemon and lime flavours and a juicy, almost bitter tang on the tongue which is really enjoyable. It's more direct and piercing than round but this is well balanced and well made with acidity keeping things refreshing right to the very end. A nice, uplifting style with plenty of verve. Established in 1610, this estate farms 13 hectares with grapes for this wine coming from the lieu-dits Bodenacker and Tallman. Disgorged on the 23rd June 2020.
