Such a distinct nose, full of petrol and waxed lemons with elements of sugar / Caramac candy bars. Forward and direct, such a focus to this with a bright lemon, seering apple and fragrant edge of white flowers and wet stones that underpin the fruitiness. Mouthwatering acidity, but so juicy and full of life, really integrated providing the right hit of intensity, zestiness and nuance. Delicious and totally moreish with a slightly thick, viscous texture and floral, honey, lemon and orange sweetness. Grapes come from this 28.15ha grand cru vineyard at 300m above sea level on clay and sandstone soils.
