One of the lowest amounts of Mourvèdre, and a stunning wine. Tight and moody on the nose, this plays the two sides of its character with charm. Ripe peaches, melon and mango up front with soft oak notes developing into dark mulberry and damson fruit, underpinned by midnight-blue velvet tannins. Black-stone minerality within a tight structure. Pepper, garrigue and a slate severity which is typical of the moody teenager phase that Mourvèdre can go through. The acidity is young and lively, the fruit powerful - the structure all there. A stunning wine with great potential.
