Weird nose with floral dried potpourri and fragrant blackcurrant fruit – quite aromatic. A little tangy and grippy where the acidity makes the first mark before soft, chewy but cool blackcurrant and blueberry comes in. Ends chalky with a soft mineral grip. Tannins are really wonderful but this is missing a touch more fruit and density. A little quiet. This should round out over ageing. 3.65pH. A yield of 23hl/ha.
