Dark berry fruit on the nose with herbal, minty, fresh accents plus perfumed and floral touches of peonies and violets. Creamy and mouthwatering, this has body and life yet is so well balanced. A supple, almost chewy base carries sweet red berry fruit. Tension remains, but the tannins, juiciness and fruit lead the way. I love this - so perfectly weighted that you still get structure alongside gorgeous acidity and plenty of juice. Classic, fun and playful - an excellent grand vin.
