Herbal-scented blackcurrants and bramble fruits on the nose with quite pure blackcurrant and black cherry aromas. High acidity makes the impact straight away, sharp and bright with a chalky, graphite grip to the present tannins. Lovely hints of minerality combine with the ripe but fresh fruits given bite and tang by the acidity. Sharp but detailed, a linear style compared to the richer, bouncier Auguste.
