Here the focus is on the palate's texture and flavours rather than the aromatics on the nose, meaning you're only getting half the picture. It's an extremely concentrated dark gold colour with lots of enjoyable, seductive flavours extending to truffle, oranges and touches of lemon curd.

It's a lovely, if understated, year for Sauternes in that the flavours are rich and enjoyable, very much on the concentrated side but lacking in sculpting freshness. 30% new oak was used. A yield of 15hl/ha.
