A property that is entrenched in history, and I was fascinated to see how it had held up in this most difficult vintage. Initially it was quite muted on the nose, straight after pulling the cork. There is a modicum of concentration with a drying tannin. Whilst I believe this is more than drinkable nearly 40 years on, I am not convinced that it is, in the nicest possible way, life-enhancing.
