Sweet oak and summery red fruit on the nose, I'm not certain that you would say this is a Pauillac in a blind tasting. It's an enjoyable wine. There are some attractive spicy notes that come in through the mid-palate to tighten up the structure and there’s no need to wait too long to open. 5% Malbec and Petit Verdot finish the blend. 15% new oak.
