A little austere at this early stage, it hasn't fleshed out during ageing as much as some on display - this always needs a few years but rewards patience amply. But there are beautifully defined dark fruits, and the tension is well developed across the palate. Lots of energy - I was practically salivating by the finish, helped by that touch of salinity to round things off.
