Aromatic nose full of dried flowers and a mix of red and black berry fruit. Clean and sappy, a lovely clean quality to this. Relaxed and fruity with a juicy core before quite salty, liquorice and spiced elements come in. Tannins are firm and slightly grippy giving a good mouthfeel. Keeps quite a cool serious frame and long length. I like the density and overall filling texture. This will be easy drinking with a classic claret touch. Mint, cola, cool fruit, clean and grippy. Great drinking still with strength. 3.64pH. 12 months ageing, 50% new, 49% one year barrels and 1% amphora.
