A touch of rose petals on the nose, fragrant and inviting with freshly-picked red berry fruit. Supple, softly chewy and high energy with great focus and intensity of flavour - there’s concentration but with really bright, almost piercing acidity that keeps this relatively straight and focused. An elegant, friendly and fun style. Touches of flint, iron, graphite and wet stones linger on the finish. Complex and nuanced. I like it. Still a touch high-toned and should soften a little over ageing. 3.5pH. Ageing 100% new oak.
