Fragrant and almost heady aromatics on the nose. Tangy acidity gives this an instant zing but there’s plenty of wood, caramel and vanilla aspects too that immediately counter it and cover the fruit at this point. There’s juice so this will settle but at the moment it's not so harmonious. Yield of 32hl/ha. Ageing 12 months, 50% barrels (15% new, 35% one and two years) + 50% vats
