Seductive nose, violet scented blackcurrants - fruit and florality. Excellent core, juicy and vibrant. This has an enjoyable character, quite bright in the glass but still with depth putting the focus on black fruits and liquorice spice. I like the framing and overall balance. Tannins are ripe and chewy but the blue fruits, the cooling elements and the overall fresh acidity keeps this quite lifted with just a touch of austerity appearing towards the finish.
