Generous and ample, quite direct with tension and focus but good expansion in the mouth too, good drive of flavour, underlying succulent acidity and push of dark fruit flavours. Tannins are fine but plentiful and give this good structure and balance. Long penetrating finish with some salinity that is appealing. Really classic flavours, with tons of liquorice spice, sweet and sticky, that coats the tongue and mouth. If anything it's a little bit sombre right now, still quite tight but good potential.
