An André Lurton estate, the man who started it all. The ruby colour is soft but still very much in control, with attractive damson fruit on the nose. This retains an attractive structure, a lively lightness of touch, and black fruits that still have more to give. Very much in its tertiary phase but with real balance and soft melted tannins, thus has fluidity and grace. When you go back after five minutes it has kept some aromatic intensity and the smoky, warm ash notes are more evident.
