Dark and brooding nose, full of rich black fruits. Deep and concentrated, this is a wine with power and propulsion. Highly charged with ripe fruit but slightly austere tannins still that provide a contrast in terms of texture on the palate. It has a good frame and the flavours expand after a few minutes in the glass. I love the freshness and the hint of sweet juiciness at the beginning before it settles and deepens with liquorice, tar, coffee and tobacco elements that give real nuance and structure. Well made and delivered with classic elements. A nice wine here in a great moment for drinking. Really very delicious for the price with a salty, graphite wet stone minerality at the end that I love. From 18.3ha of vines located on clay-limestone hilltops in the communes of Civrac en Médoc and Bédagan. Blend of 52% Merlot, 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc, aged 18 months in stainless steel. Now certified HVE3.
