Scented bramble bush on the nose. Smooth and silky, the texture is light and airy with gorgeous, bright strawberry and red cherry flavours lifted by high acidity. The tannins are touching on chewy and are quite present, just marking the palate and coating the tongue and cheeks with a thin veil of chalkiness which is pleasant. This is a confident wine but doesn't shout, the flavours grow and expand on the palate and this ends up expansive and wide but without any heaviness. I love the minty tang and soft spices on the finish. A great time to drink this delivering abundant freshness, signature flavours, a good structure and long finish.
