Deep plum colour, this is full of black fruits overlaid with a raspberry leaf floral character, showing its location a little further up the Médoc peninsula where cooling breezes come in off the Estuary. Black pepper spice comes in from the mid palate, and there is clear oak impact overall in terms of grilled almond and smoke. Austere for now.
