The wine presents itself with a very dark colour and a noble nose of dark berries and chocolate. Already very pleasant and poised, the palate is fresh and fluid with bold tannins and powerful structure. The ripe fruit (does not show overripe despite the high alcohol) is there, as is a touch of savoury tobacco notes. Muscular and massive but not heavy on the finish.
