Vibrant purple colour in the glass, sweet and fruity with blackcurrant and plum aromas on the nose, smells forward and open, generous with subtle hints of savoury spice. Smooth but firm, thick but lively, a good weight and balance in the mouth with supple fruit, agile and energetic with crunch and crispness countered by bouncy and softly chewy tannins. Clean and pure, focussed and structured - intense but so sleek and stylish overall.  80 IPT. 4.2% press wine. 40.8% production. Harvest 6 September - 24 September.
