Red berries, vanilla, cream, smooth and sappy with bright acidity, focussed fruit and nicely chalky-edged tannins. Playful and fun while still being concentrated and confident. Somewhat plump but with cool blue fruit, cola and lots of minerality pulsing through. I like this a lot, very Cabernet but also a touch spiced and deeply fruited with a menthol freshness on the finish. 5% press. Ageing 70% new oak. 3.7pH. 44% of the already tiny production given yields of 11hl/ha.
