Pink rose petals and some dark blackcurrant fruit. Super smooth and full of life – this is energetic and focused with almost sweet red cherries and ripe blackcurrants plus a tiny bit of flesh that gives a round mouthfeel and such welcoming weight. Really friendly and approachable – there’s a softness but still with mint and Cabernet backbone. This will add on more texture and muscle over ageing and will become more firm but this is a great wine in the making. I love the juiciness and the tannin texture. 65% of production. 72 IPT. 3% press wine. 40.2% production.
